These assets where created as part of a freelance job for a sci-fi action video game from an Indie studio. The game got canceled and would have run in Unreal Engine 4.
This project is an asset showcase and not their actual placement in the game but I tried to replicate the mood of the game.Most of them will be very big in size and be placed as background formations,but some also in middle player distance.All the beauty shots where taken in Unreal Engine and the wireframe ones in Marmoset.I am responsible for the entire creation process of those assets.To create them I was given reference images to follow and had quite some freedom to experiment and include ideas of my own as well.For all the assets I created the high poly version first which I decimated in Zbrush to get the low poly model.
Regarding the texturing I used tillable images from the internet and when necessary I created my own in substance designer or painter.
The master material was created by me and a fellow 3d artist.
